The problems of economy of resources in oil and gas complex of Russia

Abstract

The present article deals with one of the most important aspects of economic development, mentioned by the President of RF, namely, the problem of correlation of energy efficiency and economy of resources. Five presentations were shown and discussed at the general session of the Earth Sciences Branch of the Russian Academy of Science on 14 December, 2009, related to the problems of oil and gas complex and coal industry of RF, and also to economy of water resources, being essentially vital for this country's economic development. This article is based on the two of the five presentations – the presentation by A. Dmitrievsky, academician of RAS (Institute of Oil and Gas Problems of RAS), dealing with main tasks and directions of economy of resources in oil and gas complex of Russia, and the presentation by K. Trubetskoy, academician of RAS (Chair of the Scientific Council on Problems of Mining Science), dealing with main directions and problems of economy of resources in oil and gas complex of Russia.
