Abstract

The article is devoted to the main directions of scientific activities of the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GC RAS) and the National Geophysical Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences (NGK RAS) in 2016. The most important results of scientific research of the year, topics and projects carried out within the framework of a state assignment, fundamental programs of the Presidium and ONZ RAS, Federal Target Program, projects of the RFBR and RSF, as well as a grant from the President of the Russian Federation are listed. The article reflects publishing and international activities.
