Abstract

Using SEM-EDA analysis, micro- and nano-inclusions of platinum group elements are discovered and investigated in graphite-bearing black shales of Bureya terrane, Russian Far East. It is supposed that these rocks are promising as a non-traditional natural source of PGE's, and can host PGE deposits of new type, which is now not enough investigated, and not involved in industrial use.
