In the Far East �ranch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the basis of modern information technology the distributed multimedia information environment for fundamental scientific researches of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of sciences about the Earth is created. This article also is devoted the description of this environment and some aspects of its working out.
