Abstract

The article presents the main activities and results of the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GC RAS) and the National Geophysical Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences (NGŠ” RAS) in 2014. The focus is on a review of topics and projects in which the GC RAS took part, and an analysis the most important results in the implementation of fundamental scientific research in the framework of scientific programs of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR), Department of Earth sciences RAS and the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
