Abstract

In the article, readers have the opportunity to get acquainted with the main events and activities of the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GC RAS) and the National Geophysical Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences (NGK RAS) in 2017. The most important results of scientific research of the year, topics and projects carried out within the framework of the state assignment, fundamental programs of the Presidium and the Department of Earth Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, projects of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the Russian Science Foundation, as well as a grant from the President of the Russian Federation are listed. The article reflects scientific, editorial, publishing and international activities.
